Bring Your Group to the Farm

We invite your group to experience life on our vibrant working farm. Angelic Organics Learning Center hosts more than 100 groups at our farm each year, including schools (K-12), scouts, home schoolers, youth groups, and college classes.   The fun isn’t just for kids! Adult groups include garden clubs, faith groups, book clubs, and community organizations.   We work with each visiting group to create a custom learning experience that combines hands-on activities with opportunities for group reflection. School groups—from kindergarten through college—can meet curricular goals for environmental education, science, social studies, and more. What We Offer

  • Tours (1-2 hours) include an experiential introduction to the farm, emphasizing how soils, animals, plants, and people interact on an organic farm.
  • Day-long programs (4-5 hours) incorporate additional components such as work projects, nutrition and cooking, food systems literacy, and workshops on organic gardening or sustainable agriculture.
  • Some groups opt for overnight camping trips (2-5 days) which engage groups more fully in the life of the farm, experiencing some of the rhythms of a typical work day.
  • Be a farmer for your birthday (2 hours)! Kids ages 6 and up can celebrate their birthday at the farm. The party includes an hour of real farming activities with our friendly livestock, followed by use of our gathering space for the party.

Facilities for visiting groups incorporate sustainable design features, and include an indoor workshop space, outdoor shelter, camping area, and composting toilets. Learn more about our farm and learning facilities.   Program fees cover our programming costs, and vary depending on group size. Visiting groups have paid for programs through fees, school funds, grants, and community fundraisers. Inquire about assistance for limited-resource groups.   We look forward to welcoming your group to the farm!
